Every month, approximately 2,600 families visit ECHO Food Shelf at least once. That’s about 650 families each week, almost 120 per day. Every month, more than 200,000 pounds of food are distributed to nearly 10,000 people.
ECHO Food Shelf is raising funds for a much-needed expansion. Please consider supporting our growth and helping us continue to feed our community by giving online or calling our office at 507-345-7477.
As demand for emergency food supplies grows, ECHO’s current facility can no longer meet our community’s needs. We have purchased the property adjacent to our existing location and created an expansion plan that will allow us to:
- Increase our storage capacity for fresh and non-perishable food items; currently, we can only store food for about one week.
- Accept more bulk food donations by creating space for semis to make safe deliveries.
- Enhance our services to current and future clients as food insecurity in our community grows.
